The campaign aims to educate homeowners as well as property maintenance managers for commercial properties about the dangers of high water pressure. Damaged or worn-out regulators can result in destructively high water pressure. The ad asks the question, "When was the last time you had your's checked or serviced?"
The free education includes a checklist to determine if dangerously high water pressure is present. The checklist includes leaking hot water relief valves, under slab leaks, excessive usage, high water flow, banging pipes, leaking stops and supply lines, surging water pressure, leaking pipes in walls, recurring leaks, leaking faucets and vibrating pipes.
In addition to offering $25 OFF any plumbing or air conditioning service, the campaign includes a FREE!! water pressure safety inspection.
Rainforest Plumbing & Air has launched this campaign as part of it's preparation for Maintenance Mania, an event they sponsor with HD Supply, NAA (National Apartment Association), and the AMA (Arizona Multi-housing Association). They will be giving away 200 t-shirts with the UNDER PRESSURE!! logo on the back and the Rainforest leaf logo on the front. They're also teaching two education classes on Plumbing and Air Conditioning tips and methods and how to save money through preventative maintenance. Maintenance Mania in Arizona is held in November and is attended by Property Maintenance Supervisors. There were more than 200 attendees in 2008 and many more expected in 2009.
